Jewelry Photography Made Easy

Spend less time photographing your jewelry and more time making it. Using your jewelry, your phone and a free photo editing app, I’ll show you how to photograph your jewelry easily, affordably, quickly and beautifully.

No fancy cameras or lights, No light boxes, No working outside, just your phone (iPhone or Android) and a free photo editing app. Yes, it can be that simple. Who has a closet full of equipment they thought would help create beautiful photography? Who has spent tedious and frustrating hours trying to figure out how to get the best shot? Me, I've been there. Let me show you what I've learned so taking photos of your jewelry is not the least favorite part of your day.

We will work through obstacles like low light, glare, color correction, focus, composition and more. This is not a lesson in terminology, we’ll keep it simple, making the process faster and more efficient.

The best part is each student will create a “recipe” to use for all of your photography that can be easily recreated and duplicated.

I spent 25+ years working as a graphic designer, art directing photo-shoots with photographers and prop stylists for product catalogs. I’ll share that experience and knowledge with you.

Class is limited to 4 people so everyone gets plenty of individual attention and practice time.

What to bring:

• samples of your jewelry
• your phone with updated system software
• a working camera app on your phone
• the FREE editing software installed before class (I'll provide a link)
  
• any props you would like to work with
• notebook
• any props or backgrounds you would like to incorporate

What to expect:

• a link to the photo editing app to install on your phone before class
• an individualized photo “recipe” to follow at home
• better photos without a lot of fuss

What is supplied during class:

• photo set for each student
• props and background material samples

Cancellations: Due to limited seating, we request that cancellations occur at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by email. Cancellations will be refunded the class fee only, minus any fees accepted for supplies or products purchased for the class. We cannot offer refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours before class begins. When you register and pay for a class, you agree to these terms. Thank you for your consideration.
